This eLearning project was designed and developed using Gagne's 9 Instructional Events. The focus of the eLearn is on using soft skills in the areas of communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability to support employees at Company X with embracing change in an ever evolving corporate world.
Audience: Existing employees across various departments at Company X.
Responsibilities: Instructional Design, Design Document, Visual Design, eLearning Development, Job Aid
Tools Used: Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond, Adobe Stock, Canva
Business Goal: Equip employees with practical strategies to improve communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability so they can manage challenges, embrace change, and meet deadlines.
Managers in several departments have seen an increase in miscommunication, collaboration, and adaptability during projects that has led to missed deadlines.
After a careful analysis of the problem, my recommendation was an eLearning module with accompanying job aid. The instructional goal of these deliverables aims to give employees the soft skills training they need to better manage challenges, embrace change, and meet their deadlines.
This scenario-based eLearning project is designed and developed to help Dot & Co serve a larger group of customers per class with only one instructor. Throughout the course, the learner will participate in a virtual painting tutorial that will prepare them for class.
Audience: New customers who have never painted a wooden sign before.
Responsibilities: Instructional Design, Design Document, Storyboard, Visual Design, eLearning Development, Job Aids
Tools Used: Articulate Storyline 360, Canva
Business Goal: Dot & Co will be able to serve a larger group of customers per class (7-10 customers) with only one instructor in at least 85% of classes.
Dot & Co has seen an increase in customers without prior experience in creating wooden signs with vinyl stencils. Dot & CO values small class sizes of 4-6 customers per instructor to provide a more hands-on approach. With the increase in customers who require training, more instructors would be required per class to provide hands-on support. Dot & Co is not prepared to hire additional employees at this time.
After a careful analysis of the problem, my recommendation was an eLearning module. Customers will complete this course in its entirety at the beginning of the first class. While the module is being completed by the new customers, Dot & Co instructors will be able to begin class with more experienced, returning customers. Once the new customers have completed this course, they will join the class and receive tailored support.
This scenario-based eLearning project is designed and developed to educate employees at New Leaf Healthcare on the RACE (Rescue, Activate, Contain, Extinguish) procedure, the PASS (Pull, AIM, Squeeze, Sweep) procedure, and how to choose the right fire extinguisher.
Audience: All employees at New Leaf Healthcare.
Responsibilities: Instructional Design, Design Document, Visual Design, eLearning Development
Tools Used: Articulate Rise 360, Canva
Business Goal: At least 85% of New Leaf Healthcare employees will be able to respond to a fire with the correct fire extinguisher and demonstrate how to use the extinguisher.
During New Leaf Healthcare's last quarterly fire safety drill, many employees, regardless of how long they were employeed at the hospital, did not remember how to respond to a fire, or how to extinguish a fire by choosing the correct fire extinguisher.
After a careful analysis of the problem, my recommendation was a scenario-based eLearning module. Employees will be able to complete this self-paced module when they have a break between rounds and other daily responsibilities.
